Trying New Time Slot for “Intro to WordPress: First Steps”
I know that as fun and energizing as working in and learning WordPress is, at the end of your work day, you’re often exhausted, your brain fried. At the suggestion of a prospective participant, the first “Intro to WordPress: First Steps” workshop in March will start an hour earlier than it has in the past.
Join me, and up to only four (4) others, for “Intro to WordPress: First Steps (Part I),” Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 5:30 PM. We’ll go the usual two hours, with the first half sitting in the Conversation Pit, sipping great coffee/tea, sharing our experience and visions, learning WordPress terminology, and getting questions answered.
The 2nd hour or so, you’ll jump onto your laptop or Mac! I’ll give you a tour of the front end of a (self-hosted) WordPress website, pointing elements out to further solidify in your brain the terminology we just discussed. Then you’ll log into the back end (work space) with your very own username and password, and do hands-on work in a real live WordPress site! And, you’ll have access to the back end for about a week or so after the workshop.
