After answering your questions from “Intro to WordPress: First Steps,” in the “Intro to WordPress: Part Two (Going Deeper)” workshop you’ll spend most of your time in our online WordPress (self-hosted) lab, completing targeted exercises offering a closer look at key WordPress functionality. Note: You do not have to have attended our “Intro to WordPress: First Steps” workshop, but you’ll need to have a bit of familiarity with WordPress (i.e., some hands-on experience) if you’d like to join us. Call me if you’re not sure if this workshop is for you.
Guided by me, with step-by-step hand-outs, you’ll do specific hands-on exercises in a live WordPress site that will empower you to use the WordPress admin panel, plugins, widgets, categories, and expanded SEO. You’ll feel more comfortable as you explore and utilize WordPress tools in Websites and Coffee’s very own online WordPress lab.
This session is about using the tools in a safe and fun environment, so you’re more comfortable playing with your own WordPress website. If you don’t have your site up and running yet, you’ll still have full access to my online WordPress lab for at least two weeks to reinforce and expand your learning at home and/or your business!
